Movie inspiration #1: Invictus


I needed to watch a film tonight – something light, easy and inspiring.

At the video store, it was a bit like choosing a horse at the races – colours and name vs pedigree and track history.

Invictus. Morgan Freeman. Matt Damon. Winning names. I placed my bet and headed home.

I’ve never been to a rugby game. Now I want to. Nelson Mandela is an inspiration. I’ve been to South Africa. I love Morgan Freeman. Clint Eastwood may be getting on but he deserves Best Director accolades. I think Matt Damon looks hot.

Belief in self. Belief in others. Greatness in self. Greatness of others.

Greatness comes to those who believe.

I am the master of my fate.

I am the captain of my soul.
